Library Hickory Campus
Designing a New Library for Hickory Campus
For this project, we were tasked with either remodeling the existing Watauga library or designing a brand-new library for the Hickory campus. I decided to start from scratch.
Fun facts:
This was my second library project.
It started as a group project, but my partner decided to work solo midway through, so I had to finish it independently.
This was my first attempt at building a physical model!
Highlights:
I feel like I captured the design language of the existing campus buildings while adding my own style.
I’ve always been a fan of curtain walls, and they’ve become a signature feature in many of my designs. This time, the unique roof lines made them especially challenging, but I’m proud of how they turned out.

Epperson Lodge
For The Wounded Warrior
This is the project I’m most proud of. It pushed me beyond my own limits. In the beginning, I found myself stuck in a cycle—each iteration felt too similar to the last. Frustration grew, both for me and my teacher. But at some point, I just said, “Screw it. I’m doing what I want to do.” And somehow, it worked. Sometimes, creativity is born out of frustration, and this project is proof of that.
Sky Box
Caribbean-Inspired Sky Box for the Bienenstock Competition
For the Bienenstock Competition, we were challenged to design a sky box inspired by a genre of music. The goal? To either create a literal expression of the music or explore a looser representation. My concept centered on the Caribbean.
I chose to focus on the vibrant culture of the Caribbean—celebrating its music, traditions, and colorful aesthetics. The result is a design that embodies the energy and spirit of the islands in every detail.

This Serves As Both A Visual Centerpiece And A Nod To The Lush Landscapes Of The Caribbean. This Element Added Complexity To The Project And Required Me To Use Photoshop For The Final Renderings.
Tiny Home
My First Revit Design: Tiny Home Challenge!
This was one of the first full projects I created in Revit, and it was part of a tiny home design contest. The constraints? Design a 600-square-foot space with a closet, a full bathroom, and—if it fits—a child’s bed.
Fun fact:
This was my very first design, and it got me second place.
Broadmoore
Broadmoore, New Orleans
This project was inspired by the Broadmoor Recovery Projects from the early 2000s. It was supposed to be my first group project, but everything changed when COVID hit, and my school transitioned online. Because of the shift, the project didn’t evolve the way we had hoped, and I’d say it’s my least favorite one to date.
